Installing the Ice maker Line

Pull the Refrigerator away from the wall and find the fitting that the tubing will connect to

Next take the tubing ( copper or plastic ) that came with your ice maker kit and connect it to the back of the ice maker unit using the fittings provided in the ice maker kit

At this point you are now have your ice maker line connect to the unit and you are half of the way done

Now you will have to look for a place that you can tap the saddle valve to, most of the time a main truck line in the basement or under the sink will work, depending on the location of where you decide to connect and install the saddle valve will determine how many holes you will have to drill to snake or feed the line from the unit to the feed( water supply)

Once you have made a path or another words have delivered your tubing to the place where you will connect the saddle valve, you can now go ahead and connect the saddle valve by reading the installation instructions that came with the ice maker kit.

Now you need to connect the saddle valve to the tubing that is going to the back of the unit, using the fittings that came with the ice maker install kit

Make sure that all your fittings and connections are tight and have been installed properly.

The last step is now to turn on the water to the refrigerator ice maker by opening the saddle valve and then checking for leaks, if you see no leaks just leave the saddle valve in the open position and enjoy your ice when it freezes in a few hours!

PULSATING SPRINKLER
